Perfect Your Golf Swing Follow Through And Your Entire Golf Swing
The golf follow through is an important part of your golf technique. For one thing, your follow through will tell you certain things about your golf swing and your golf shots. If you're not completing your follow through correctly, you'll tend to have some other golf swing errors. Good golf technique will lead to a good follow through.
Working on your golf finish position can actually help you keep your golf club on plane correctly in your swing. The key to a successful follow through is to swing the golf club over your left shoulder. This will tell you the golf club is being swung on the correct path. If your swing is too steep or too flat in your backswing, you can actually fix a lot of it by simply trying to swing on the correct path in your follow through.
Your follow through will be higher when you are trying to hit the golf ball higher. If you are trying to hit the ball low, you'll want to keep your follow through low and not let it completely finish. This will produce a low ball trajectory for you.
Another important concept is that a balanced finished position generally means you had a balanced swing. An off balance follow through position means there are errors in your swing. You should always finish your swing so you are directly facing your target. If you have made a good swing, you should also be able to hold your follow through position as if you were going to pose for a camera. Learn to make your follow through picture perfect and you'll start hitting perfect golf shots with better balance.
